This movie may not be the guide to finding your soul mate or staying single

If you follow the life lessons from "How To Be Single" you could possibly pick up some sexually transmitted disease and most definitely will remain single for the rest of your natural born life. Essentially this is a chick flick and no male has any right to challenge it's view point, but I will. Why are males always represented as bastards? We are simple creatures with simple needs not like you complex females. We need good loving, good company and good food. End of story. For all of the the above we will remain loyal obedient creatures for life, a bit like your dog. Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann and Alison Brie form an unofficial lonely hearts club in New York City...just looking for Mr Right and often sleeping with Mr Wrong. The message from this movie is supposedly that we need to learn how to be single in a world filled with ever-evolving definitions of love...however the main characters never seem fulfilled until they have met their soul mate after bedding hundreds of potential candidates. How To Be Single is at times a funny movie mainly thanks to the Aussie one woman invasion force of Rebel. Some of you may find too many home truths in this film. If you like Sex and the City, but hated 50 Shades this may be for you. Did I mention there is a lot of sleeping around in the city that never sleeps as Starship once sang. In fact I doubt 24 hours goes past when any of these characters are not in some type of relationship. If you're really looking for a guide to the single life this ain't it, but it could be a fun date movie with no sport involved. Personal Highlight: the sauna scene

Expected what I saw in the trailer and got more

Despite what some may say, Love and Other Drugs wasn't like other romantic comedies I've seen except in the most general of senses, in that it was a romantic comedy. I hadn't seen one set in the environment of pharmaceutical sales or with a main character who had Parkinsons disease, a setting which is very interesting as there are a lot of things wrong with health care and the system today. It gives one something to chew on while watching the rest of the movie.

There's a lot to like about the relationship between Jamie and Maggie. They have a raw intensity and passion for each other that was a bit much for some viewers, but in my opinion it was there to show how connected they were both physically and mentally. I thought their banter and teasing nature was cute. Nobody got wounded or sulked when teased but just laughed and teased back. The initial attraction between them started as an understanding of each other's loneliness and vulnerability that allowed them to feel like someone else finally got them after easily charming others with nothing more than a fascade. Their relationship had passion, love, and a roller-coaster of emotions.

There was a scene midway through the movie where Maggie tells Jamie that even though she may have many other moments like the ones that she shared with him that it will never be as special or mean as much to her and my heart wanted to swell because I knew exactly what she meant and what it is like to love someone that much.

Technically Accomplished But Falls Short In The Storytelling Department

While the year of 2014 was the first in nearly a decade that didn't feature any film from Pixar Animation Studios, 2015 marks the first time that this pioneering studio has released 2 films in the same year. The first was Inside Out which signalled a much-awaited return to form for Pixar after their quality slump in the past few movies. The second arrived just recently in the form of The Good Dinosaur that employs Pixar's signature thinking process that begins with the idea of "what if…" and is a technical marvel but purely from storytelling perspective, it's one of their least impressive works.

Set in an alternate timeline in which the asteroid that destroyed the dinosaurs missed Earth, The Good Dinosaur introduces a world that's still ruled by these giant reptiles and concerns Arlo; the youngest member of an agrarian family of Apatosaurus who's unable to adjust due to his timid nature. But when a strange set of events separates him from his family & throws him in an unfamiliar territory, Arlo finds an unlikely friend in a human child and takes an epic journey through the wild to return to his home and in the process also learns to confront his fears & discover his true capabilities.

Sucks.

I have never written a review before, but I feel that writing one is the best way to clean my mind of the crappy film I have witnessed. This movie was extremely awful. The humor attempts to be "offending", but it instead sounds like something an 8th grader finds humorous. In fact, even an 8th grader would tire of the pathetic nonsense that is Movie 43.

The plot centers around two teenagers that make up an outrageous picture. However, I've heard it's different for other parts of the world. I'm currently in the UK, so the kids wraparound is what I saw. Their little brother looks for it on the world wide web and ends up finding lots of clips that we get the displeasure of seeing. There's one called "The Catch" where Kate Winslet goes on a blind date with Hugh Jackman. However, get this: Hugh Jackman has penises where penises aren't supposed to be! Just hear the crickets sing. I can hear the screenwriter just laughing and laughing as he adds more unfunny jokes about poop and semen.

Hot Pursuit is a dismal comedy and a criminal waste of talent.

I had low expectations going into this and even then I was shocked at how offensively unfunny this movie is. I can forgive a movie when it tries to do something inventive or experimental and falls flat, but Hot Pursuit is the most cookie-cutter "buddy" comedy you can imagine, using cheap gags that have been done a hundred times before and two talented leads that cannot save this abomination of a movie no matter how hard they try.

Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara are talented and funny when given the opportunity. Hot Pursuit however goes out of its way to make them as unlikable, unfunny, and downright annoying as possible. Witherspoon uses a terrible Southern accent the whole movie, which is weird because she used a similar accent 20 years ago (Freeway) and it sounded perfectly fine. Vergara's accent is hard enough to understand but it's amped up to 100 here making half her lines indecipherable. There are moments where you can tell the two actresses are having fun, but the material is so lazy that none of it comes across in the actual dialogue. In fact the most enjoyable banter between them is during the outtakes where they're not obligated to follow the horrendous script.

I can nitpick this movie to death but what's the point. Watch the trailers - if it looks funny to you then you'll probably get a kick out of it. If not, avoid this like the plague. However as a fan of action comedies and stupid humor in general (The Other Guys and Harold & Kumar are hilarious to me), Hot Pursuit failed on every level and then some.

Master of None is a Netflix original TV-series that at first glance looks nothing more than your mediocre story with a single guy trying to find his love of his life. After watching through the first season one can absolutely say that it is more than that, it is funny, romantic, and sad. And goes deeper than most romance themed movies and shows.

Master Of None focuses on Dev (Played by Aziz Anzari), an Indian- American who is in his 30's and is still single. In his journey of finding the perfect girl he continuously turn down girls, always trying to find someone better, all this without knowing that the perfect girl is none existing, but only attainable in the right mindset. Every episode spread his journey out, from dating, social life and work life. While the story might not in itself sound original, the message is bigger than what the eye can see. It is not about his journey, but what he discovers while uncovering it. The story is entertaining, but the message is not really noticed before your good in the season. What I feel is important to address is that every episode is special, one episode will make you laugh, while another might give you the chills when it gets heated. However most of the episodes are somewhat more mixed, giving you a "I really want to laugh, but it might be a little inappropriate" Feel.

"Why start a review of a movie based on R.L. Stine's books by talking about Stephen King?" Fair question. Well, Stine has been called "the Stephen King of children's literature." Beyond that, you may be surprised to learn that Stine has bested the famously prolific King by publishing hundreds of books, which have sold over 400 million copies! Think about that. It's enough to… give you goose bumps. That, of course, is the name of Stine's most popular series of books, brought to the big screen in the film "Goosebumps" (PG, 1:43).
